The New Jersey Affordable Housing Management Association (JAHMA) is a nonprofit professional organization of property managers and owners who specialize in the development and operation of government assisted/affordable housing. JAHMA serves the entire state of New Jersey.

JAHMA is dedicated to improving the professional skills and knowledge of personnel working in this special field, to industry representation, and to a better living environment for all residents of assisted/affordable housing.

JAHMA has three levels of membership.

>> Regular Membership
Available to property management companies who manage federal, state, or locally subsidized or insured housing projects.
>> Affiliate Property Membership
Available to properties belonging to Regular Member Companies.
>> Associate Membership
Available to vendors whose clients include property management companies.

Annual golf outing

Every May The JAHMA Foundation hosts a Golf Outing to raise money for the Scholarship Program. Last year, the foundation raised $46,000. Registration and sponsorship now open.

CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL OF OCCUPANCY
MARCH 8-10, 2017

Trevose, Pennsylvania
A comprehensive program offered by NAHMA for property management staff in affordable developments, including LIHTC. It covers the HUD 4350.3 Handbook in its entirety.

POSTER/CALENDAR CONTEST

Each year children from communities in assisted housing from all over the country submit posters after first sending them to their local AHMA.  The contest always has an anti-drug theme as well as various sub-themes.
